i'm jay korff for abc 7 news. >> finally some relief from the heat and humidity. we hit 90 degrees earlier, we have now called down to 84. a lot colder off to the west of us but the heat index values, what it feels like out there, still hanging onto the 90 degree mark at 9 -- reagan international airport. hotter downtown where we have concrete and buildings. stormwatch 7 satellite and radar, nothing around the metro area right now. another batch of showers off to the west of us, getting ready to move into the hagerstown area. heavier rain embedded within the showers, but nothing has severe and the best news, not a lot of thunder and lightning. once we get this out of there, a cold front moves through and temperatures begin to drop had tomorrow, it feels better around the dmv. by tableaux from 68 to 70 five degrees. mostly cloudy skies, it stays on the muggy side. isolated showers and storms will come to an end. tomorrow morning, back to work d middle 70's. as we move to today, humidity levels begin to fall. begin to going to clear. new time, mostly to partly cloud
