this morning we are joined live on the 9 by jay, who plays simon, and lola. of lola. take a look at that. talk to me about this transformation. >> it's really fun. it takes my make-up artist 30 minutes to do the make-up at the top of the show. then throw on the dress and the hair and once the train leaves the station, we're all a go. >> yeah. >> i have to say, i mean, i am oozing. i saw it last night. you bring it for every minute that you are on stage. it's such a physical part you play. >> yeah. it's very demanding. like i said, once the train leaves the station, i am on it. intermission, i am back to the make-up chair. i have to ask to do other things if i have time. yeah, it's non-stop. it's lots of fun. >> you stay in character during the intermission? >> absolutely. my make-up artist is at work. i am running around and i am in the land of lola. >> how did the role come to? >> i started the tour as a swing and an understudy in our original lola, kyle, left the tour and i reauditioned and they gave me the opportunity to take over full time. >> you had a cl
