jayna murray 'sajayna murray's mother took the stand yesterday. she only really got up there a few moments and was able to identify her daughter's body on some of the pictures as well as some of her belongings including herself on and her car. the majority of the testimony was police detectives who interviewed brittany norwood in the days jayna murray was found murdered. the detective said that he thought brittany norwood was a victim of first. then he said she became a suspect after stories started to unravel. the jury yesterday saw the two- hour-long video of brittany norwood being interviewed by police detectives. her lawyer has said that he admits his client did kill jayna murray but that it was during a fight it and that it was not premeditated. this is something the prosecution has been trying to strike down. they are expected to rest their case later on today. the defense will not call any witnesses to the stand so the jury will get the case handed over to them for deliberations sometime this afternoon. jummy olabanji reported from rockvill
