stephanie decker al jazeera, border crossing in southern gaza. >> let's speak now to our correspondent in gaza. joins us now hive from this. the sun has gone down, this is in the past few days been a time when we see the increase in the number of air strikes from israel, what's been going on. >> you are right, and that's just what has happened. during your introduction, i have heard four explosions behind me, all of them incoming, and the 15 minutes before that, i heard two rockets coming out of gaza, and then three massive explosions just within blocks of me in the center of gaza city. this is becoming a sustained conflict. with firing on both sides but as you point out, the casualties are all on this side of the border so far. at least the fatal casualties. and those, of course, have been mounting with some of those larger strikes. off if not always they have been calling them beforehand, never the less, we had a strike that kills eight members of the family, that was in con. they realize that it isening fortunate that a number of those people were children, six of them children. ano
