action news jeaneatte reyes is live on kirkwood highway in mill creek new castle county. this sounds painful to say and imagine. good morning. >> reporter: good morning, the pedestrian hit by not one but two cars. the first driver hit this man kept going left him on the road only to be hit again. it happened along this roadway. delaware police say it happened around 9:00 p.m. near kirkwood highway. you can see in this video, the victim's clothes are strewn across the streets and a pizza box was left behind. the man was hit by two cars as we mentioned, the first ran over the victim and drove off in westbound direction on route two. second driver did remain on the scene until police arrived. that man, the victim, was taken to christiana with serious injuries. though that was his status last night, we're waiting on police to give us his condition this morning. but we do know again, he was pretty seriously injured because of this incident last night. now, during the investigation, this highway was briefly shut down, it is back open this morning. but again, the search is on fo
