now we are getting out to jeanette reyes.being a factor. certainly the traffic is a mess. what is happening right now? >> it is a terrible mixture out here. take a live look behind me, you can see the gaping hole where the geyser was shooting into the sky, sometimes up to 20 feet. we just finished speaking with a police officer who is working as quickly as possible to open up this road. they will be working to put salt on the roadways for quite some time there was a river of water flowing down at king street. you can imagine a sheet of ice forming. you can see the tell truck, the plow coming by. that is the good news. in the meantime no buses are coming through and a lot of people have had to walk to work. one gentleman walked five miles to work. retro is not up and running obviously, right now, as this continues. they will be working on it for quite some time. it looks like the road has sustained significant damage and the road will be closed for several hours, probably well past noon today. we will keep you posted. plan ahe
