jeanine. >> reporter: definitely, sal. and so far it seems like this arsonist is either walking or driving along warm springs boulevard and setting bushes and garbage on fire. you can see we're here at one of the locations where that happened. it seems to be recent just because we can still smell. it is smoky out here. now, since july 15th, there have been 15 fires set. and it's all been on warm springs boulevard between hackamore lane and laten way. the majority occurring in the overnight hours. but now they're starting to happen during the day as well. authorities worry that the arsonist may get bolder and target homes. we spoke with a resident who ran out of her house after neighbors told her the backyard was on fire. she got emotional talking about it because it reminded her of a fire that happened when she was young. >> it happened to our house before. and so it's kind of scary to think about. ink about. and so i didn't want to. i didn't want it to happen. >> reporter: fremont police do not have suspect information. t

what have you learned jeanine. >> reporter: mike, police have told us that the man was found here inhis parking lot right near the lowe's home improvement store. sources tell me that this man appeared that -- it appears that he was homeless and he was found in the city position near an suv that was parked here. it has now been towed. investigators did focus on that suv that was in the strip mall here in north san jose. it was packed with a lot of items. and there was a bike chained to the rear tire of it. we're told that it appears that the man was living in the vehicle. officers were first called to the parking lot just after 10:30 last night. someone reported there was a person down and they weren't sure if the person was dead. police say he was unconscious and not breathing. he was pronounced at the scene. we're told that the position that he was found in and the circumstances seem suspicious. and there have been eight homeless men who have been killed this year so it's likely that detectives may look to see if this latest case is relate today any of the others. those happened in
