judge jeanine." thanks for watching. judge jeanine: breaking tonight. reaction pouring in to president trump's bombshell allegations against the man who preceded him in the white house. hello and welcome to "justice." i'm judge jeanine pirro. the president setting off a firestorm in the media early this morning making direct accusations against his predecessor president barack obama. he tweeted at 6:35:00 a.m. that he just found out that mr. obama ordered wiretaps of trump tower just before the election. the president went on to indicate that obama had had an earlier request for surveillance turned down by a court. president trump compared the whole thing to a nixon watergate-style crime and coverup and called his predecessor a bad or sick guy. close quote. for his part president obama's specksman did release a statement on behalf of the former president. a cardinal rule of the obama administration was no white house official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the department of justice. as part of that practice, neither president

judge jeanine: mr.eaking of people who really are good at what they do, you are the guru of the balanced budget. i refer back to the contract with america, '94-'95. you did what everybody thought was impossible. in light of the president's suggested budget. we know the house ultimately has the power of the purse. what the president has done with this proposed budget, is he really put a stake in the ground and he's seriously very clear that he is cutting out a lot of stuff. we know he's increasing money for the defense and as well as homeland security for veterans. but he's also getting rid of a lot of stuff, even pet projects for people in his own party. there was a sense by some republicans that it's risky and may be a breach of faith in some cases with the people who elected them. what do you think? >> this is a very first budget, they didn't have much time to put together. some parts of it i deeply disagree with. but the general direction is right. it's shock to people. trump is somewhere between rea

judge jeanine: why?me from? >> the idea has been around for a several decades. there was a lot of pressure to get rid of priestly celibacy and part of modernizing in the church that was rejected by pope paul vi, pope francis and pope benedict. it is not where we want to go. judge jeanine: you don't support it? >> not at all, i like what we have now. judge jeanine: i have to tell you with, all due respect, father, if i'm a priest and i practice celibacy for all those years and this guys comes in, got a wife, kids, married. why did i do this all these years? >> some might say that, i'm happy the way i am, i'm happy being a priest and don't mind not having a wife and kids, i don't think you want to upset the people of god, the church in general by saying what we valued for 1,000 plus years is going to be cast aside. shortage of priests has to do with the lack of religious practice, not the fact that priests can't be married. we have to increase religious practice, get people praying, go to church, all that
