jeanine dela vega joins with us the charges the woman faces in this rather dramatic case. good afternoon. >> reporter: good afternoon, tori. the suspect was in court today but not arraigned because they still need to assign a public defender to her. she's not facing a murder charge. instead, the charge is manslaughter. 26-year-old tickleman faces seven different charges including administering heroin, causing great bodily harm, and destroying evidence. santa cruz police said she's a high-priced call-out prostitute and had a relationship with the victim, forest hayes. he was found dead of a heroin overdose on his yacht in the santa cruz small craft harbor last november. tickleman injected heroin in him and failed to render aid. police said surveillance video on the boat shows hayes suffering and tickleman stepping his body several times, drawing the blinds, gathering her belongings, and leaving the boat. the yacht has been taken for evidence, but those on the harbor today remember hayes and shuddered at hearing the details. >> it makes me sad. you know, it makes me sad to s
