jeanne moos cnn ny check this out! our finally getting a break from mother nature. a winter storm blasted northern utah with heavy snow through much of the day yesterday. snowfall started right in the middle of the morning commute. there were several slideoffs and even a rollover on i-15. hit utah this thursday. cold front has passed and chilly air takes over as it is whipped into the valley. mainly sunny skies will be common throughout southern nevada but highs in the city will only range between 54 and 59 degrees. winds will be whipping up from the north between 10 and 20 mph through most of the day with an occasional gust between 25 and 35 mph. this gives the valley a feel-like temperature range between 44 and 49 degrees! tomorrow morning, a freeze warning will be in place for the city due to temperatures dropping to between 28 and 32 degrees during the hours of 2am and 8am. please check yr plants, and elderly friends and family member to make sure you are prepped for freezing conditions. low to mid 50s for highs will be common through saturday with sunday increa
