she really is sort of a new hampshire type politician in that if you look at jeanne shaheen who is ourr and is now our governor, she and amy are cut out of the same cloth, very serious, thoughtful individuals who are nice people and easy to get along with. i enjoyed working with amy in the senate. i like mike bennett a lot too. i was interested one of your listeners mentioned mike. i think mike is a superb talent. clearly, bernie sanders has a base in new hampshire. he was able to beat hillary clinton here. i don't think that base has been eroded significantly. there is within the democratic party a very strong progressive socialist movement. and i think that that he's got a 20 to 30% base here. but i'm just not sure how this turns out if bernie wins in new hampshire, and he wins in south carolina. my sense is that rather than he being the winner, that maybe mike bloomberg's the winner, because the democratic party is going to want to nominate someone who they think can beat donald trump, and it's unlikely, in fact, is literally impossible for a socialist to beat donald trump, no matte

and she has spent significant amounts of time here, and she reminds me of our senior senators, jeanne shaheenggie hassan, we have a tradition here in new hampshire of electing female politicians, so i would keep an eye on klobuchar perhaps taking some more support away from joe biden over the weekend. >> so beth, who's peaking right now, at least for right now? >> well, bernie sanders is clearly a popular figure here. i've seen it in the events that he's done around the state since coming out of iowa earlier last week. he's definitely going to give us a strong showing it would be my guess. the question is who's also going to come out looking strong into those next contests in south carolina and nevada. it's a really big important question because as you know, richard, the big wrap on pete buttigieg is that he has not managed to develop any black support or much anyway, or support among people of color and younger voters, and that's very much what you're going to see, sort of the dominating voter pool in both of those states. if pete buttigieg does well here, can that slingshot him into a bett
