senator jeanne shaheen said she wants some sort of law helping women over there. we really do that? how much influence do we have? >> the u.s. has leverage. first of all, it's the united states. there is diplomatic leverage. there has to be a push. there has to be a push for a conversation that includes the discussion of what happens with women. the aid going forward in the future has to have relevance to that. secondly, think about what's happened. harat university is 51% female. most of the people applying are women. you have this whole generation that looks different. has the taliban changed? most people living under taliban rule says no. there's no question it understands the environment it's coming back into is different than the one it left when it left power. it knows it needs engineers, doctors and all that to govern. yes, the u.s. has leverage. >> we hope they have a bright future. very concerned still. always great to talk to you, gayle. >> great to be with you. >>> up next the round table takes on possible legal jeopardy for former president trump. also
