jeannette reyes has been following the story all morning. she is live at fort meade with what we know about the suspect this new. reporter: for quite some time they did not know when exactly -- where exactly this man was. it's been an exhausting 14 hour search and he came to an end about an hour ago. the suspect is now in custody. look at these images. chopper seven was overhead. he was spotted in a wooded area similar to what you are seeing, trying to hide. we were there as police closed in on him. let me give you some background. at around 9:00 in the morning, this evening yesterday. officers spotted a stolen vehicle at a baltimore city and try to pull over the driver. the car sped off in crashed into an unmanned gate at the nsa. it was an intense and active search overnight with several agencies involved. county, state police, u.s. park police searched above with helicopters. we saw helicopters until 9:00 in the morning searching for the suspect. most of the activity was off of u.s. route 32. we know residents were told for about 12 hours
