jeff? jeff: leon late today, a judge at d.c. superior court releasing rosen from jail. but he must remain on house wear a g.p.s. monitoring device but he cannot use the internet or a cell phone. before his arrest yesterday at his home in mount pleasant daniel rosen was already facing a lot of trouble but now his situation looks much worse. daniel rosen leaves court today with his wife and attorney showing little emotion and saying even less. >> mr. rosen, do you have anything to say sir? >> i'm sorry -- jeff: according to d.c. police rosen who is 44 took videos of women in their homes at night while they were undressing or naked all from windows where the shades or curtains were drawn all without the women's consent. the incident allegedly happened in adams morgan u street and mount pleasant. police say they have found 40 separate incidents of videotaping between 2012 and 2014 involving 24 victims, seven of whom were filmed on more than one occasion. >> there were concerns by some of the people that we spoke to that something might have happened but they're not exactly

jeff: and the u.s. marshal says it will be taking a very close look at procedures following today's incident.assaye's next court date is set for friday afternoon. live in alexandria, jeff goldberg, abc 7 news. maureen: thank you jeff. as for those guards at the hospital, abc 7 has learned both of them work for allied protective services a private contractor. these types of guards have been used for such assignments for more than a decade under a contract with the u.s. marshals service. and as jeff mentioned, a review is under way to determine if policies need to be changed. even before today's escape assaye faced serious criminal charges. federal investigators say he is responsible for a dozen bank robberies in northern virginia dating back to october of 2013. that's shortly after he was released from a 13-year prison sentence for burglary and robbery. several of those recent robberies, surveillance video captured the suspect fleeing on a bicycle. investigators say the man that bicycle is assaye. our we

kron four's jeff bush is live at the police department with the latest tonight jeff. >> jeff: and has been a very busy today for the police department as they did ta'en too juvenile sewer associated with the shooting. the call went out just before three. a school resource officer noticed a 19 year old man had been shot twice in the arm just outside the school. a lockdown was ordered and police fanned out throughout the neighborhood looking for a group of four suspects who were seen by residents. police received reports of the suspects running through back yards and jumping over fences. several other police agencies were called to help with the search. a four square block perimeter was set up and dogs were used to look for the suspects. eventually two juveniles were detained for questioning. but, police were still looking for the shooter. >> we rarly have this type of violent crime. it doesn't mean that it doesn't happen and it rarly happens near the high school. we do pride ourselves in our school resource program and i think it speaks to our program that our school resource officer h

jeff flock has the latest.tarted happening with very quiet other cars that ran on gasoline. >> well, this does. the volt runs on gasoline too. that's the peculiar problem with this one. this is a problem with electric cars. the thought they need some kind of sound that let's you know when you haven't turned the vehicle off. well, here's the problem with what happens with the chevy volt. this is in the gm statement as well. if a driver, this is their statement to us. if the driver exits the vehicle and inadvertently leaves the vehicle on, the high voltage battery will drain after a period of time then the gasoline's engine kicks in to recharge that battery. the problem is, what if you've left the car in a garage. god forbid, what happens if you fell asleep in the car and it kicked on. you didn't know it. you're asleep. your garage is filled with carbon monoxide. gm says two injuries have been reported as a result of this problem. the issue, of course, becomes, liz, is this a problem with other vehicles? still tr
