"action news" reporter jeff chirico live from police headquarters in bensalem with the details, jeff? >> reporter: well, sarah, we're told an aunt and a grandmother are being book inside police headquarters here in bensalem on child endangerment charges. they apparently left the baby inside the car for 14 minutes, and now we are told that it all played out at target parking lot on rockhill drive-in bensalem. apparently the grandmother and aunt went shopping and left baby inside the car. a passerby noticed the baby and called for help when that baby was rescued it was 115 degrees. the aunt and grandmother apparently told police they had forgotten the baby. >> i don't know how someone forgets you leave a one year-old in the koran one of the most blistering days of the year. they went in shopping and they were going about their business. luckily there was a off-duty philadelphia police office their witnessed this as well and he opened up the car door and able to get the car door opened with some sort of lock out tool. bensalem police arrived and the officer was attending to the job. >> i

"action news" reporter jeff chirico joins us live from southwest detectives with the details, jeff? >> reporter: walter, in that case a neighbor pulled children from the car and took them inside, and until police arrived. that neighbor told me older child had a piece of paper her father had given her with an emergency number to call in a case like this. police say that the driver of this car was parking in front of the road when gunman approached and shot him in the face. it happened after midnight at 55th and spring streetness west philadelphia. the victim's children age three and seven years old were in the car at the time but they were not hurt. neighbors say the victim whom they call mike is on life support and is in critical condition. nearby store owner just can't understand why anyone would hurt them. >> he is a good guy. he is a good guy, he come in here every day, never bother anybody. >> reporter: hour earlier woman in her 20's was shot at 62nd abe wood land in south philadelphia a gunshots hit a car. police say the victim was in stable condition when she was taken to the

jeff goldberg explains. jeff: construction theft may not be new to loudoun county. >> it has been happening a long time. jeff: this is different. >> it seems more blatant. jeff: he is overseeing the construction of 50 homes at virginia manner. last night, thousands of dollars in windows were taken from the some. is there are deadlines for these houses. if large quantities of materials are stolen during construction, it sets us back. with a lot of eastern lot in the western part of the county still rural, the boom is happening here at a rapid rate. the lot in county sheriff's office has recorded 153 cases of construction property theft this year. most happening this summer in chantilly. say that these are striking at night and on weekends, mainly targeting residential sites, but some commercial, and even three schools before they were finished. hopper wiring, lumber, and roofing supplies just some of the missing materials. >> we believe there is a smaller number of individuals involved, but we are not ruling
