what comes next, jeff? we are going to be looking at some much cooler temperatures, maybe even some rainfall coming in that 7-day forecast. but we did manage to set even more records. look at this up to a hot 102 in concord, a record tied one in livermore. also a new one in santa rosa, san jose, 102 new record and san francisco up to a hot 92. now, when you look at the heat overall, san jose had the hottest seven day stretch in history. we average 100.1 degrees hottest since records started there in 1906. but of course all the bay area got in on this heat. it was eight days with on and off records, the hottest livermore 108, the hottest at the coast san francisco 9525 days this summer at 100 and hotter when we usually average about ten. now, historically, the last days of 100 is october the 15th. it does look like we could stick with that trend and start to see those numbers sliding down. in fact, right now we're anywhere from 2 to 16 degrees cooler. i'll have more details on this system out here. and that
