jeff paul is live in las vegas. >> a lot of excitement and optimism at the sam brown watch party. he's of course the republican candidate trying to unseat the democratic incumbent senator jacky rosen. just a few moments ago when bill was talking about nevada you heard a lot of cheers here from the crowd at the sam brown watch party, just knowing some of those initial numbers. it took nearly three hours to finally get some of those numbers. we are hoping to get another batch in the coming hours, but nevada has an interesting law where you can vote right up until the 7:00 hour, and if you are in line, they will let you vote. and in order to release those results, they wait until the very last person in line votes. that person took two hours and 48 minutes, so still a very long night ahead of us. but for the folks at the sam brown watch party, a lot of optimism in the air. >> bret: jeff paul in las vegas, thanks. >> martha: our panel is still with us, and we have some new folks that are here, as well. kevin mccarthy is joining us. karl rove's back. let me start with you. give us an u

brown for the very first time. fox news national correspondent jeff paul is in las vegas for us. than a long week, jeff.ong there with all of that? >> yeah, sandra, the short answer to that question is that the races right now are just too close and there are still too many outstanding ballots that need to be counted. at the moment, nevada estimates they have tens of thousands of ballots that still need to be counted throughout the state, and the bulk of those ballots are coming from clark county, which is a solidly blue part of the state. it includes las vegas. but was also delaying the process, there are thousands of ballots and need to be cured. the main issue officials are saying surrounds signature verification, which voters have until next tuesday to fix. >> it's very important that people come out and cure their ballot if they want their ballot to count. i think, unfortunately, a lot of people won't cure because the numbers are so high or the person they voted for already won. >> so here's where things stand at the moment. donald trump right now is ahead of kamala harris in nevada by roughly four

let's go to jeff paul from the headquarters of republican senate candidate sam brown.e will be there in a little bit when it starts, for right now we are outside maybe one of the biggest and most extensive polling centers in the country. this is allegiant stadium, home of the las vegas raiders. to you folks at home, people are still showing appear to cast their ballot. we are a minute away from the polls closing, and under nevada law, if you're in line by 7:00, you have the right to vote. we are hearing about some instances where there are some pretty long line throughout the state. also keep in mind that they will not release any results anywhere in the state of nevada until the last person in the state votes, so we could be looking at a very long night ahead of us here in the state of nevada. martha? >> bret: jeff paul, thank you so much. we are waiting now for these calls at 10:00 and we are looking at basically a scenario where the democrats are putting all their hope in the blue wall. the question is, what happens when we make a call in north carolina and georgia?
