i'm jeff bush in oakland, kron four news. riders say they are sick of the drawn out theatrics that cause anxiety and hassle for the commuting public. bart workers and supporters rallied and took to the streets for a march in oakland yesterday. this is video from our helicopter partnership with abc-7 news. you can see the crowds marching from frank ogawa plaza to bart's headquarters near lake merritt. streets were shut down as hundreds of union members carried signs. members of other unions came out to support bart's two biggest unions. police were on hand and they surrounded the crowd to keep an eye out for any potential disruptions. but the rally remained peaceful. if the bart strike does happen, commuters are advised to make a back up plan for monday morning. kron 4's pam moore has a look at other ways to get around the bay without bart. other transit agencies now have their plans in place. bart will offer a free shuttle bus service here is a map of the bart stations where you can get on the bus. some buses stop in west oak
