fox 29's jeff cole explains what exactly happened inside that courtroom today. >> reporter: observersn a milford pennsylvania court watched as eric frein's alleged ambush of two state police troopers played out in front of them. prosecutors played the video in court as frein shackled watched. it was enough for a judge to send the 31-year-old to trial. here's video of alleged shooter eric 14 arriving at court this morning. frein sat quietly as the images of the september 12th ambush rolled. the video shows corporal brian dixon mortally wounded crumbling to the ground. he died. trooper alex douglas being struck by gunfire as he attempted to help dixon. he's also seen crawling away to escape the gun blasts. he survived. corporal dixon's family attended the hearing. authorities say frein confessed to the attack. prosecutors want to put him to death. again, the ruling came at mid afternoon on monday. there was enough evidence says a judge to try eric frein for homicide and other crimes. in the newsroom, jeff cole, fox 29 news. >>> a jury is set for the trial against former tv ports persona

jp miranda represented a north philadelphia district in the spring of 2013 jeff cole and fox 29 investigates broke the story that miranda had a ghost employee on his staff. a guy on the clock but off the job. the da's public corruption unit opened a probe and charged him with using the ghost worker to funnel money to his sister michelle wilson. both miranda and wilson were hit with felony corruption charges. today a day before their trial miranda plead guilty to one felony count of conflict of interest and lesser charge of making false statement. his sister michelle wilson plead guilty to the lesser charge of making false statements. they will both be sentenced in march. >> berks county a man arrested for dism. has a whole lot more trouble on his hands. an investigation by the police department and da drug task force turned up a thousand oral and injectables steroids at a storage facility. less say he also had needles and envelopes addressed to people across the nation. >>> a marathon day and night for jury deliberating the fate of don tollefson. he wrapped up his closing arguments this morn
