i have with me criminal defense attorney danny cevallos and jeff corwin. you, simply here is what this dentist did in zimbabwe luring this lion out of the park with a bow and arrow and ultimately killing him, was that illegal? >> brooke i have not passed the zimbabwe law exam but what i have found so far is it's legal to hunt them to bait them it's legal to even shoot a lion with a radio collar. what the illegal act was here this lion was shot in an area that was not quoted for lions. so it would be akin to hunting without a license or hunting in a place that you're not supposed to hunt even though in another geographic location you may be allowed to hunt whatever it may be duck bear whatever it is. that would be the analogy and that appears to be at this point, what the crime was. it was more of the poaching -- the poaching aspect of it. but make no mistake about it hunting lions is big business in jim zimbabwe is a measurable part of their economy. it's alive and well in africa and this is no exception. >> let me point out some numbers. i've been reading

>> there is no one better to ask this question than jeff corwin.e going to the beach this weekend keep themselves safe from shark attacks? >> the first thing they need to realize is that the probability is remote. when we see clusters of attacks like this, we think they happen more commonly than they do in reality. you have a better chance of getting struck by lightning twice than you do of getting attacked by a shark. between one and 11 million people will ever have a negative encounter with a shark in the wild, but you can decrease that risk even though it's remote. you cannot go in the water at dusk or dawn where the light is broken up and the visibility is poor. stay out during rain storms. if there's a lot of baitfish in the area, you don't want to be in the water. >> why so many attacks recently? especially off the coast of the carolinas in that one area? >> it's most curious, but there's probably a number of reasons why this is occurring. number one, this is the breeding time, this is when lots of sharks come into this area. multiple species
