testimony and a documents with the signatures and handwriting of jeff mcconney and allen weisselberg, and the testimony of stormy daniel's, and other witnesses that have come a man the idea that certainly michael cohen's testimony is critical and it's important. however, it's not the entire case and just look at the fact that the judge, if he hasn't yet will almost certainly deny a motion from the defense two, to end the case right here because of the fact that a jury could plausibly convict the defendant. here now that's not to say he will, but there is plenty of evidence in the record even in spite of some of the credibility issues that some of the witnesses have. and i think the defense gather taking their time at doing the primary the prosecution is taking their time doing it, but they are noting that even in spite of some of these credibility issues, there is a quite full record here that could not necessarily well but cuddly do a defendant's conviction on krish khardori is with his former federal prosecutor, ankush. he's going the prosecutor's going over all of these written documents that have surfaced sort of bac

daniels. on the witness stand is the former trump organization controller jeff mcconney. he's been explain how mike cohen was reimbursed eventually for using his own money to pay stormy but mcconney said he knew nothing about any agreement ordeal for her alleged hush money payments. he sent allen weisselberg, the trump cfo at the time, said they were approved by eric trump. the former presidents on who happened to be in court today with them. the balance came from trump's own personal checking account. in those checks to michael cohen were marked for legal expenses. the defense says the former president did think just that. that he was paying michael cohen for being his lawyer but prosecutors have of course said that is not true. the day started with the former president learning he has to write another check, this time for violating the gag order again. the judge find a trump $1,000 for an attack he made on the jury. he told him if he does not stop, he could go behind bars. "the last thing i want to consider is jail" said the judge. "you are a former president and possib

cohen for paying off stormy daniels, the prosecution called a new witness -- former trump org corporate controller and geppetto realizing he just stepped on that singing cricket, jeffy. at the trump org, mcconney was tasked with getting michael cohen paid back for the hush money. and he confirmed the checks to cohen came from trump's personal bank account. oh, personal handwritten checks? amateur move. he should've used zelle. you know their tagline —- zelle. i think it's like venmo with more buttons? mcconney is an expert witness because his time at the trump org dates all the way back to 1987. in fact, mcconney's son justin was the person who basically ran trump's twitter feed before trump learned how to do it himslf, something justin described as "like the moment the dinosaurs learned to open doors in 'jurassic park.'" i'm told we have footage of the moment his staff learned he was doing his own tweets. >> hold on to your butts. ' >> stephen: donald trump isn't always in court, sometimes he's out shaking his moneymaker to pay his legal bills. that's what he did at mar-a-lago this weekend. at an event saturday, donors reportedly paid at least $40,000 to attend. b

jeff mcconnaughhay, who is the controller for the organization, and both of those documents took that 400 $20,000 and showed exactly what it consisted of, which was the 100 $30,000 in hush-money payments to stormy daniels that was owed come with -- owed to michael cohen, as well as $60,000 for his bonus. so it is kind of hard to believe that those payments were not for reimbursement for stormy daniels. sumi: for people who are wondering what could happen if donald trump is convicted, what would happen? mr. akerman: well, what would happen is there would be a date set down for sentencing, probably a couple months ahead, where the probation department would do a report for the judge. the judge would then hold a sentencing hearing. he would be sentenced. it could be anywhere from, you know, no prison time to, you know, 3, 4 years, plus probation, so there's really no way to know. the other thing that could happen at this sentencing hearing is he could be remanded to prison immediately, if the judge believes that there are no real issues for a few, which there may not be here, because it really comes down to a jury question of whether or not he had the intent and whether he did what the prosecution claims
