jeff flock is live in michigan outside a stellantis facility. what are we expecting today, jeff?'s a sort of a battle for the folks here at these, you know, parts facilities to kind of hold the line and keep anything from coming in or coming out. that's the whole point. we have some pictures of an incident that just took place not maybe 10, 15 minutes ago, where a truck tried to run through the line and it got a little tense for a moment. you know, the success of the strike is really based on whether they can shut these plants down. there are reports that they brought in nonunion workers, some salaried employees to work inside the parts facility. so we'll see. you know, these parts facilities make a lot of cash for the automakers. already $1.6 billion industry has been cost in the last week of the strike at the assembly plants. we have a picture of what looks like these -- what these facilities look like inside. these are not assembly plants, they are places you get parts for vehicles you already had. so if you take your car to the dealer and say give me a new radiator or whateve

doesn't jeff flock know it on what you may have to look forward to or in the case of some of these workers> speculation on what plants could be added to the strike. we still have less than 24 hours. this is the michigan assembly plant in wayne, michigan. as you can see, a lot of folks, about 13,000 in all of the plants on strike right now. the question is what could get added to it. the deadline is noon tomorrow. but the uaw with a facebook tweet or whatever you want to call it today, they'll be on facebook live at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. the president of the uaw, shawn fain, nobody knows what he will say. but this strike has long tentacles. g.m. has laid off 2,000 people and its fairfax plant in kansas. the missouri plant shut down and there's no parts going to fairfax. ford here has laid off 600 people because of the strike at the michigan assembly plant and stellantis, another 68 people laid off in toledo because of the problems with that strike there. i can tell you this. if you think the sentiment is waning out here, you can see what they were doing today, this is where they make the bro

jeff flock is there. jeff? >> charles, it's not exactly the busiest airport in america but could get busier if some people have their way. it's 1 of 11 sites that the biden administration has given to new york officials to try to a leighate that crush of migrants in new york city. tens of thousands of them have been bussed to new york from texas. others have made their way to new york on their own. the city is now just about tapped out. they're ready to cry uncle saying they need to send them somewhere. as i said, this is one of 11 places that they could go along with an irs office in long island and other upstate new york airport. no decisions have been made. it's gotten a lot of blowback. people think it's not doable, that includes the democratic governor of new jersey, phil murphy who is famous for saying new jersey is a sanctuary state. when it comes to sending 60,000 migrants, i can't do that. >> i don't see any scenario, eric, where we can take in a program in atlantic city or frankly elsewhere in the sta

jeff flock at the atlantic city international airport. how many migrants can be housed?ntic city airport is not in atlantic city. it's near the harbor township, that had a population of 50,000, could get crowded. as you know, new york city is getting overwhelmed. with the number of migrants just overwhelming places they have to put them. according to bloomberg, the biden administration has given new york city officials a list of 11 federally owned sites where migrants go. atlantic city being one of them and that set off a firestorm of protests in atlantic city, nearby communities and the governor himself who called new jersey a sanctuary state but sanctuary costs money. governor murphy, i don't see any scenario where we are able to take in a program in atlantic city or anywhere else in the state, an anonymous amount of additional support and resources. a lot of people calling on the governor to be opposed to this and get on the horn with the president and say we are both democrats but i can't handle this. here's what the congressman had to say. >> time for them, it is un
