jeff hager. >>> tonight a baltimore man is charged with assaulting a student in columbia last week. 48-year-old don nell vanderson is charged with assault and disorderly conduct. he went to the school on march the 21st, put on a ski mask, approached the 16-year-old male student and hit him. the teen hit back and a 15-year-old student hit the boy. she was charged as a juvenile. the victim will not be tried. >>> we want you to take a good look at this sketch. this man is wanted in connection with six burglaries and attempted burglaries in whitemarsh. they happened between march 22nd and 25th. each time the man tried to get in the home through an unlocked door or window. police are asking whoever might call this man it call them. >>> police in towson are on the lookout for this man. he is accused of robbing three towson hear banks. he robbed the fargo on fairmont avenue twice and came back a second time on march the 8th and also hit the m&t bank. all three happened in the middle of the day. each time he handed the teller a note demanding cash. >>> now let's get to the continuing coverage

jeff hager has more. >> reporter: investigators say a large party of children and miscommunication between the adults caused the scare which left the 3-year-old on her own. the girl, who we only know as harmony, approached the girl at the chuck e. cheese, crying and saying she was thirsty. almost three hours later the parents retrieved her. turns out even of the adults thought the other was taking harmony home. >> evidently, the little girl had an extra token and ran back into the building to use her extra token, and everyone had left, thinking that someone else had her. >> once harmony's picture appeared on the news, the harford county sheriff's office received several calls from her parents and family members. the employees at chuck e. cheese are being commended for their actions, searching the building repeatedly for her parents and ultimately calling the police to ensure her safety. >> all right. thanks a lot, jeff. >>> news around the nation tonight. we had a very mild weekend here in maryland but all over the midwest people are surveying the massive damage done boy that deadly outbre

jeff hager has more on how this little girl named harmon nip ended up in the shopping -- harmon harmony ended up in the shopping center. >> reporter: 3-year-old harmony found herself left behind at this chuck e. cheese in bel air and sought out an employee for help. the manager called police. >> they remembered the large party coming in four adults, multiple children. unfortunately, they had paid in cash and they had not made a reservation prior to coming, so there was no clue on who the family was. >> reporter: deputies arrived and waited for more than an hour to see if somebody would come back. after harmony's picture appeared on the knew, several calls came from the family who ultimately reunited with their daughter. it appears the adults, each thought the other had harmony in their care. >> evidently, the little girl had a little token and ran back in the building to use her extra token and everyone had left thinking that someone else had her. >> reporter: a corporate spokesperson said the chuck e. cheese employees reacted just as they're trained to do. tonight the police and harmon

. >> reporter: in harford county, jeff hager, abc2 news. >> well, the seized animals will remain in limbo at the shelter until an investigation is finished or the owner gives them up for adoption. nine dogs remain in pens, four more than the county allows without a ken them in licensed. >>> new development unless the death of a baltimore county firefighter last year the fire started in the kitchen and ultimately took the life of firefighter mark falkenhan. kelly swoope has more. >> reporter: the investigation revealed the number of secondary causes for the fire that led to his death but nothing to a direct calls. the 84-page report was compiled by fighters -- firefighters and union members. they looked at pictures, did interviews, even createdjf model tools outline what happened the night falkenhan died. the report outlines his final moments as he called emergency and said he was trapped on the third floor under heavy fire. recommendations included the need for crews to stick together and that everyone should carry a portable radio. falkenhan and his partner were separated inside the apar
