let's check in with jeff paul. he's in los angeles international airport. looking there, jeff? >> yeah, jon, a much different story compared yesterday. we have been out here since the early morning hours. it has been pretty much the same all day, a constant flow of people at the airport. but traffic is moving. they are keeping the lines down as short as possible. so far no major or widespread delays or cancellations reported throughout the country. and a big reason for things flowing so smoothly, despite a partial government shutdown, federal airport workers are still showing up to work. tsa agents and air traffic controllers technically aren't being paid right now, but they are still coming to work to make sure all those travelers get to their destination. in fact, we spoke with some folks who are heading out for the holidays who say they are extremely thankful that those employees are so dedicated to their work. >> i really respect everyone coming in not knowing whether they are going to get paid or not. it is all of us doing what we can for each other for
