jeff smith the jeff is with pg and e so jeff, we talked what, 2 or 3 hours ago. things getting better. some stand. house cleanup going. >> you know, we're making steady progress. we'd obviously like to have even more customers back restore than we do at this point. but we have made some steady progress. the break in the weather has been a benefit in terms of able to get out. there are crews having, you know, the access that they need to make these repairs. so we're we're making progress. but we understand that there are still lots of customers in the bay area without power. we appreciate their patience as they work to safely restore. >> and jeff, and they looked at the pg and e map. but maybe just clarify for us where the real problem areas. >> you know, you just catherine, it's you know, the south bay. we've got about 53,000 customers without power the north bay, about 57,000. 34,000 on the peninsula. so those are the 3 big problem spots in the in the bay area. and then, you know, it's about 12, 12,000 in the east bay and on a little over 5,000 in san francisco.

as jeff smith, the jeff is with pg and e boy. jeff, what a busy morning for crews give us an overview of what the current situation is. >> yeah, it's been extremely busy last couple of days, but that really heavy storm that passed through our entire service territory with some particularly strong impacts and the bay area. had just over some of those numbers there. right now we're looking at in the entirety of the bay area about 185,000 customers that are without power. partly and the good news this week was restored well over a million customers since this storm began. so we've made a lot of progress. but of course, you know, continue to see some outages that there is still a little bit of weather moving through. but, you know, thankfully in most parts of our service territory, things are clearing and our crews have been able to make some steady progress already this morning. and we expect that to continue into the afternoon. >> yeah, i was going to ask you if things are easing off a little bit and i guess they have a lot of us h
