linsey davis is in port jefferson, long island. you're in one of the areas rumored -- wow.at's incredible. >> reporter: it is pretty incredible, sam. the snow is coming down at a rate of two to four inches an hour. so far, we're at ten inches and counting. some parts of long island are expecting up to 20 inches of snow. what makes that bad is that's on top of the roughly foot of snow that this area already had from two weeks ago that hadn't exactly thawed out just yet. on top of that, we have the wind. 35-mile-per-hour wind gusts that's reducing visibility to less than a quarter of a mile. sam? >> linsey, sometimes i don't need to say anything but just look at that picture. you're in the worst spot so far. thank you, linsey. let's look at who is going to get what today. there's some left in this storm system. there's a heavy band of snow going right down the berkshires right now. going through massachusetts and into connecticut. danbury, connecticut, with 18 inches of snow so far. and where you see the pink and purple, that's who gets snow throughout the day. new york city,
