>> bill, i just hung up with jeffrey curry, head at goldman sac sachs, says at this point, gold has fallenthe selling since last week's fed meeting has been overzealous and prices will even out over the next weeks and months. he spelled out his view recently, and he says gold will trade up a bit as economic conditions improve and the market regains optimism toward the end of the year. longer term, he thinks we'll stay where we are, bill, with the market trading as low as 1050 in late 2014 before settling out at the much longer-term 1200. >> okay. kate, stay with us. >> we have jason who says only hedge with gold if the world is ending. so great to have you with us. you do seem to be right now in the minority. i was just asking our panel a moment ago if anyone was buying gold at these levels. not a single person said yes. i think mike commented earlier, saying the gold trade is, quote, dead. so why you so confident that now is the time to buy? >> so, you know, we try to buy gold when it's cheap and before you need it. and if nobody's wanting to buy it, i guess it's pretty cheap, so we think

deutsche bank and goldman sachs cutti cutting copper outlook on china fears. we are joined by jeffreyold and how they have evolved on over the last couple of years to this point? >> well, in 2011 we said that we thought they were approaching a cyclical peak in a bull market, and in january of 2011 when they were talking about 2,000 and $2400, we issued a sell recommendation, because we thought that it would fall to $1,300 an ounce, and on june 14th, we issued a buy recommendation saying that the sale could spike down to 1250, but it was a good buy from the intermediate perspective of two the five years. >> so you are calling the bottom at 1260. how high do you believe that gold can go here? >> well, we qualified it last week, because we are waiting for the bounce in the market. there is a lot more bearishness in the sell-off now than in april. the expectation is that the gold prices will trade sideways be e tween 1350 and 1550 for the next couple off years and then rise again beyond 2015 at some point. >> well, wait a minute, if you are talking about $80 of upside, why should someone
