chief meteorologist jeff ranieri is tracking it. and jeff, what are you seeing? and when do you see it ending? >> i really see this slowly starting to taper off tomorrow, and certainly dry weather on friday, saturday, and also on sunday. right now with storm ranger, our doppler radar, it is scattered. we'll get you down to the santa cruz mountains. this backed through moderate rain to capitola through 7:34. a few spotty showers over san anselmo, richmond and right towards san francisco. look at our eight-day rain totals. phenomenal amount of rain here. this is the most active on and off pattern we've seen all season long. 79 inches santa cruz mountains. san francisco 5.43. san jose checking in with 4.13. so with all of this rainfall, this has put an incredible dent in the rainfall season. we're looking at a surplus of over 4 inches in santa rosa, up 3.37 in san francisco. also up over three inches in san jose. now with all this rainfall we've had most recently, as we head through tomorrow morning, it's going to be all about the cold blast of air. also some fog. r
