joining us is jeh johnson. thank you for being with us. we appreciate it.ericans, 53%, support building a border wall. when donald trump was in the white house, that never climbed above 44%. what do you make of the shift? >> i make of the shift that americans realize that this really is a crisis, that the numbers crossing our southern border on a daily, weekly, monthly basis are not sustainable. they are more aware of the issue now. when you show polls like that, the devil can be in the details. it does make sense to build a wall in places where it makes sense along our 1,900 border to have a wall. there are other places where it doesn't. in the remote desert, on top of mountains. the concept of building a wall in places where it makes sense to do that makes sense. >> if re-elected, donald trump has promised to launch the largest domestic deportation operation in american history. critics are comparing it to controversial eisenhower policies. many call it inhumane. what's the impact of floating such an extreme measure? >> first of all, in contrast to simply
