jenelle wang is live in oakland with more on this developing story. jenelle?> eric, as you've been talking about this is the third officer-involved shooting in less than 48 hours. this one happened near bancroft avenue and durant avenue. that's where i'm standing right now. this is actually the city of oakland but this whole thing unfolded at 10:00 lat night when a police officer started pursuing a 1989 jaguar. after crossing into the city of oakland, the jaguar spun out of control and hit another car. there was some sort of confrontation, and then san leandro police shot and killed one person in that car, a woman. we hear another person may have been in that jaguar and possibly had been hurt but that has not been confirmed. no police officers were injured in this incident but oakland police are now handling this investigation since the incident and the chase ended in their jurisdiction. again, this is the third officer-involved shooting involving san leandro police. that's the latest here reporting live in oakland. jenelle wang, abc 7 news. >> it's now 6:35.

jenelle wang joins us live from the bart station in hayward to explain this. jenelle? >> yes.risten, bart will start phasing out the easy rider card at many bart stations today and it will not worked. it will be completely blocked by december 22nd. some passengers may get an unpleasant surprise when they're trying to pay for their fare. bart began alerting riders months ago about switching to the clipper card but not everyone has done it. we hear about 5 to 8,000 easy ride customers have not made the switch yet. the clipper card can be used on many different transit systems including bart, muni a. c. transit and caltrain and eventually on all transit systems in the bay area. if you still have an easy rider card, you can go to the easy rider website to deactivate the card and switch to the clipper card. you can go to walgreens or clippercard.com or any of the downtown san francisco underground bart stations like embarcadero or new montgomery. once you get this clipper card you can use it to pay for parking at bart stations. live at hayward bart, jenelle wang. abc 7 news. >> 6:0
