jenna: hi, everybody, i'm jenna lee.supposed to be yesterday when it got extended til tonight. but healthcare.gov tweeting that the web site got two million hits yesterday, the crush causing a backlog. they're still trying to finish up. ed henry has the latest from washington, is the administration confident this is all going to come together? >> reporter: jenna, they think so, but they're still hedging because they've seen deadlines come and go. they told congress repeatedly this testimony before october 1st that they were ready to go and they were on target and then, of course, they were not. the president acknowledged that was bungled. they are confident, though, perhaps more confident now than they were around october 1 isst because, as you say, those two million visits it's not just that so many people are shopping, it's the fact that the web site, while slow, was not crashing like we've seen before. that suggests some more durability, though white house spokesman josh earnest told me they're still a little bit conc

jenna: i am jenna lee. presidents common coming on the heels of the enrollment website 631 the website is trying to put the botched rollout behind it. getting that millions of enrollees getting the health care law work. the deadline to sign up for coverage next year is december 23. let's talk about with karl rove, a senior adviser and deputy chief of staff to president george bush. he is also a fox news contributor. that was part of her job when you are there to get the message out and get the programs in the public eye. can the president resell a program that has had such a difficult time? >> they had an enormously bad first impression and it is hard to convince people that this program isn't fundamentally flawed. there's a lot more bad news than there is good news. millions have lost their private insurance coverage and they are finding that when they go on the website, they are paying higher premiums and higher deductibles in many cases, and they will find out if they don't have access to all the doctors

jenna: dr. getting insurance for me and my employees. it depend on your plan. you do want to look at where sometimes if you're admitted to the hospital the co-pay is different than if you show up with a cold empty emergency room. you want to check all those. is it truly an emergency or not. there definitely will be a difference. and again, this is choice and competition. do you want to pay up front and pay for a higher premium and have a lot more choices and lower co-pays or back end. jenna: that is question some of our viewers have as well. is there enough options, enough competition in the marketplace right now? or does it seem like it is going one direction with high deductibles and higher premiums a quick final question for you both before we have to leave. molly has this question whether or not if there is not enough people to sign up if not millions of people sign up for the obamacare into the state exchanges then how does that change your picture what happens in 2014? dr. london, to you f

jenna. jenna: more on this as we get it. peter, thank you. jon: there is growing outcry over what many see as an unintended side-effect of obamacare. to try to contain costs many of the new insurance plans are severely limiting access to some of the nation's top hospitals including two world-renowned cancer centers. joining us for more on all of this, bob cusack, managing editor for "the hill." we'll get to the hospital access question in just a second, bob but what do you think, first of all, of the newly-redesigned obamacare website? >> i think the story is shifting a little bit from the website problems because it is still getting better but as peter mentioned there still are problems but now the story is shifting to cost. remember the administration obamacare would reduce costs. certainly there will be winners and losers here. if you can't get your own doctor or hospital, those losers will be awfully loud. jon: well here is one of the consequences apparently of obamacare.
