jennifer: i'm jennifer vaughn. school officials and police wanted to make sure parents knew their children were safe so they canceled classes. heather hamel has the latest on this. reporter: the nashua police chief is remaining tight-lipped about what that e-mail said, exactly what that threaten tailed. however he says after a day's both of of investigating and looking through the school with a fine tooth comb he no longer believes that is there a credible threat in any of nashua public schools. this comes after 24 hours after the superintendent of schools would come to students specifically targeting the two high schools. the superintendent says the safety comes first and due to the concern for parents and the high probability that there would be a high amount of absentees, he decided to shut down all the public schools in the city. since that decision was made the f.b.i. was called in, efforts have been made to find the person responsible and they have done checks of doors and windows at all of the schools and ch

jennifer: the u.s. and cuba reaching an understanding that could restore commercial flights between the former foes. fox 5's linda schmidt is live at kennedy airport with the details of the potential deal. reporter: good evening to you. it's really hard to believe but an entire year has passed since president obama announce we will be restoring or normalizing relations with cuba. it was a year ago this month and now on the one year anniversary and other major announcement, this one is that there's an understanding between the u.s. and cuba about restoring regularly-scheduled commercial flights between u.s. and cuba. what that would do as it would fly to cuba and they're talking about right now more than a dozen flies on a daily basis. currently the only way to get to cuba is on a charter flight. this would be the commercial flights and again more than a thousand on a daily basis. i spoke to the co-president of frommer's travel guide about what it means as far as the number of americans traveling to cuba
