right now we want to take you live to boston where jennifer davis is standing by. jennifer, what can you tell us about what's happening now at the scene of the explosions? >> reporter: well, they are certainly sifting through every bit of evidence and that's where the details have come about the pressure cookers. they found shredded pieces of those kitchen devices that has given them a great idea of how the bombs were made. we've been getting details from the doctors at the office who gave those clues as well and said as we were seeing our patients as we were helping them through our surgeries we were finding this metal and the information is coming from different areas. there is the front but with over -- there's the investigation but with over 170 victims, there's help for them. some have had their legs amputated. there are two fronts as this town tries to recover from what happened here yesterday. >> certainly the investigation continues this morning. have -- we listened to the fbi press conference this morning where they really said no one is in custody. no talk

. >>> reporter jennifer davis joins us live from boston with more on what is happening there, jennifer? >> reporter: we have a number of things developing and if we want to start with the investigation we know the fbi is taking the lead. we know there was a saudi there at the blast and while he is not being called a suspect, officials are talking to him. although officials say he is here on a student visa and it appears to be legitimate. they served a suburb yesterday and they were seen taking a number of things out of that house as well. there is no suspect, no motive and nobody has taken responsibility for this. >> before we let you go, is there a sense of norm i, i know -- normalcy? >> yes, we are watching a man pushing a stroller and there is certainly a lot of runners out this morning. i think the city is sat and subdued and there is an increased amount of security and bags are being searched and you will see everything from search teams to national guard members around town right now. >> reporter: there is an enormous area people can't get to. it is certainly not a normal day her

jennifer davis joins us live with the latest k. we start with the investigation, what is the latest we know with this person interest of? >> well, officials say they are pursuing a number of leads but people seem to be focusing the most attention on the person of interest identified as a saudi national. 20 or 21 years old at one of o local hospitals. someone said they saw himsaid running away from the blast scene. he was tackled by a civilian and police then took him into custody and have -- sorry they took him to the hospital and they have been talking to him. he is not officially in custodyc nor is he a suspect. we know that officials have also executed a search warrant at an apartment in a neighborhood outside of boston in an area called revere and they were seen bringing in a number of piecess of evidence in bags.gs. but that said at this point thee are saying they've no motive or s. nobody has taken responsibility for the bomb blasts. there was no additional chatter, intelligence chatter they hearde after the bombings but cert
