happens now, and i think is a great twist -- [ applause ] whoever the runner up is gets fed to jennifer hollidayhter ] here in los angeles, the city council just passed a ban on all plastic bags at the supermarket. supermarkets are no longer to provide plastic bags for you to carry your stuff out. so, which, i guess means we will -- i don't know, our dogs will poop directly into our purses? i don't know. stores will have six months to stop using the plastic bags. they'll be allowed to give out paper bags for free for six months after that and then they will be required to charge ten cents per bag. if you don't want to pay that, you just have to sit in the front of the store and eat all your groceries before you leave. [ laughter ] by the way, in case you are wondering, this is why your wife has been stuffing all those plastic bags under the kitchen sink for all these years. how can the most plastic city in america turn its back on plastic bags?
