a quick question for probably jennifer matz or -- not sure. jennifer is probably best to answer it. >> jennifer. >> it is -- just a quick question. one of the discussions going forward about this project is looking at projections for events. warrior's games, concerts, family events that are going on. the proposal is 205 events each year. i'm wondering how realistic that is. we are not saying -- you know, there are any venues around the bay area or the country that actually have this many combination of sports and other events. has there been like -- you know, when vegas first started they signed a contract with allegedly frank sinatra and dean martin to actually bring. we have acts set up for the warriors? >> i can let rick speak directly to what the warriors have been doing in order to talk to event promoters. what i think is important to note is that 205 events runs the gam mot of the different size of shows. from as small as 4,000 to 5,000 to as large as full capacity for basketball games. when you look around the country at similar types of

>> thank you through the chair, jennifer matz from the office of economic and workforce development. just in the last week we've been better trying to organize our outreach to the cac including the intention to set up twice monthly meetings that would be standing meetings on the first and third mondays that's not set yet. part of the idea is to establish regular meetings that we hold quite frequently including setting up subcommittee structures that allows smaller groups to delve into discreet issues involving the arena project in a more substantive way and of course reporting back to a full cac. so i'm confident that we will have ongoing and regular meetings between now and, you know, really throughout 2013. i wouldn't want to bind -- or prohibit the board of supervisors from being able to act if a particular meeting did not occur but it is certainly our intention to be having robust meetings over the next year. >> supervisor kim: and then to -- >> supervisor chu: in terms of holding these cac pleeghts if you don't have a quorum of cac members -- >> so we not only have a number of c

i'm jennifer matz from the office of economic and workforce development. i appreciate you holding this hearing under the somewhat compromised circumstances of no power. or compromised power. this is a meeting for the proposed warrior arena, the piers 30-32 and seawall project. by way of background fiscal faoez bt, its purpose is for the board of supervisors to determine whether a proposed project is fiscally feasible before substantial predevelopment costs are incurred. it is a gate keeping measure that ensures costs are not occurred on infeasible. does not include approvals or entitlements. fiscal feasibility is required by law when a project is on city-owned property, construction costs over $25 million and pre-development costs of over a million. the determination must be completed before environmental review can commence. it is a relatively recent law. we have not done physical feasibility on all but we have done reviews of the explore tor yum, america's cup and san francisco wholesale produce mart. i would like to invite rick welts up to talk about th
