money expert jennifer westhoven is here to tell us what we're looking at. jen, we're seeing more proof that the job market is really bad right now? as if we needed more proof. >> yeah. it's just the latest weekly job report. it came in, bang, the same as where it was last week. more than half a million americans filing for unemployment for the first time. we learned this morning aol was going cutting a significant number of jobs. the real headline this morning, you may remember just a few weeks ago congress signed into law, congress and the president signed into law a bill that would mean an extension of unemployment benefits. but 1 million americans may lose their benefits unless congress does something fast. that law was supposed to mean 14 to 20 weeks more of benefits. it seems like there's been a colossal mistake here. it was basically drafted on to legislation that expires december 31st. that means everyone's benefits would run out on january 1st unless something is done. a nonprofit group says that's about 1 million people who would be on their own wi
