. >> i got you jenny, to you last for a reason you don't have a dog in the fight. you don't own either of the stocks. >> right. >> but you do own facebook so you do understand the power of the fang plus stocks. maybe it's better you don't have dog in the fight to comment because you are not emotionally tied to either direction of amazon or microsoft. you could speak completely openly about what you think about the power of the stocks appear what feels like a bit of an uncertain market. >> right and so in that, i kind of refused to play the would you rather game. you could make an argument that microsoft has more power because it has the heavier weighten than amazon but i'd rather look at the fang group overall. you see they maintain a 25 plus% weight of s&p 500. the last time we had a group of five stocks make up that weight was in 2001. back then, microsoft, cisco, ge and exon what the five stocks did in the following decade is they were flat with respect to market cap in the s&p 500 i suspect we see these five remain kind of flat with respect to market cap weight
