let's get right to jenny joyce, with some of the problems there. jenny? >> reporter: good morning, karen, good news hopefully. we just saw a power crew pull up here. they are working on the utility line. right across the roadway. in addition to the power crews, we've seen number of plow trucks, salt trucks, moving through, trying to get things back up and running in time for the morning rush, as is this intersection, we're right at street road and hulmeville road is very busy. so without power, conditions are even trickier. peco reporting 50,000 outages in this county right now. it is the result of downed trees, downed power lines, last night heavy snow on i95 was another big issue. we saw tractor-trailers, and average size vehicles, trapped in snow. wheels spinning. but cars stuck in place. it even happened to our news van. thankfully after a couple of hours, a group of nice guys stopped by. they helped out, our chris o'connell and photographer dave dig out. one family in bensalem tells us their power went out yesterday around 1:30, 2:00 while they were

our jenny joyce is there at the scene. let's get the latest information just coming in right now. >> jenny? >> good morning, karen, so we only pulled up here about five minutes ago, liver on the 600 block of hickory street, as you can see, flames just shooting out of the roof of the home. also in the lower level, uncle see, breitbart orange peaking through that front window. we heard a short time ago, that the firefighters were retreating. they were all getting out of the house. you can see that host operation from above. just shooting water, down onto these flames. that aren't stopping. so it has been going on for about an hour, and when we got here, i was able to talk to a man who said this is actually his sister's home. it is the home that he and his sister grew up in. and his mom was living there until she passed away about 18 months ago, they were getting ready to sell the house. his sister was living there with her boyfriends, and i believe boyfriends' son. she was taken to the hospital. just for precautionary reason

let's get to jenny joyce, we hop across to bucks county and see what the scene is there, jenny? >> reporter: good morning, karen, so the street light behind me here at street and hulmeville roads, the only light on, on this stretch of roadway, that is because all of the power is out. so other than that, the strip malls, the wawa behind me, the mickey d's, right across the road, are in the dark this morning. peco is reporting roughly 50,000 outages in bucks county alone. last night, chris o'connell was with the vague a family of bensalem, each member of that clan was taking turns to charge cell phones outside in the family truck. and of course, clear the driveway of all of the snow. last night the i-95 off ramp to street road was shut down after a tractor-trailer got stuck. we saw multiple vehicles stuck in the snow, wheels spinning, until help arrived. it even happened to our news van, chris o'connell, and photographer dave say they'd just helped a woman push her vehicle out of the snow when they got stuck. they got locked in place for roughly two hours before a group of guys he

jenny joyce on the scene in delanco, good morning, jenny. last two live shots, firefighters keeping their distance from the flames, now, watching as fire crews have enters this home although still seeing flames shooting out of the roof of this home. the fire start early this morning on the 600 block every hickory street here in delanco. this is the twin home according to initial reports, everyone got out safely, at least one person was transported to an area hospital a man on the block told me that person is his sister, temporarily living at the house, their childhood home, which they were about to sell. the man said he has no idea how this fire started. one woman that we talk to said she was leaving a friend's home and was walking to a car when the home went up in flames and she told us it happened within a matter after few minutes. >> flames came out high from the back like the porch or something, and it spread out through the side of the downstairs and it came out the whole front of the house out the door, all this side was melting it loo

but now that jenny joyce is in the area, she can help explain everything. >> okay. >> jenny?>> yes. good morning, mike and alex being so live here at the franklin township police department. right now, these investigators are working to figure out who sent a threatening e-mail to a staff member at franklin township school district. while they investigate, they decided to close schools in both franklin township, which is glades k through sixth, and delsea regional school district, which houses local student in grades seven through 12. so split up between two different school district, sister district, just made sense for them because of the close proximity to close both school district. so because police say a franklin township staff member received the e-mail, that leads us to believe that maybe the threat affected the elementary schools, but police have not confirmed that just yet. police said that they have been in touch with both school district, throughout the night, they notified parent of the school cancellation by phone, investigators say, they will continue to share i
