just heard from jensen, 7 1/2 inches of rain since yesterday. there's heavy-duty totals. mostly sunny, mild to warm as this system lifting north. the system is going to pick up the wind and the surf which will kick in the high surf advisory saturday. the rain stays to the north. clouds giving way to mostly sunny skies and temperatures on the muggy warm side. now, rainfall projections about 1 1/2 inches and i think 2 up to the russian river. san jose, 50. livermore is at 51. the system extends out to the pacific and a little low is forming on it. as it does, it takes the moisture and the whole system lifts it northward. i would think mostly sunny in the east bay. the north bay will stay mostly cloudy. even that lifts a little bit until later tonight when the system starts to move its way toward us. there's our system coming in at 6:00 a.m. i think it might come down a little bit later than that. but still, the north bay will be in partly sunny. 60s to 70s to the north. east, south, peninsula, upper 60, low, maybe low 60s. rain and wind on saturday. clear and cooler on sund
