jeremy kern with the san bernardino county fire department, thanks so much.appreciate your time, sir. >> thank you. have a good night. >> thank you. >>> well, we are hearing of new allegations against u.s. customs and border patrol agents. cnn has obtained emails that detail how an agent allegedly attempted to humiliate a migrant at a detention center. the emails were written by another agent who saw the incident. our nick valencia has the story. he's in el paso, texas. >> reporter: a customs and border protection says this incident happened in march here in el paso as a processing center. they say they witnessed a border patrol agent that forced a honduran migrant to hold a sign that translated to "i like men." paraded around in front of other migrants in an attempt according to the witness to embarrass him and humiliate him. according to the witness, there were two senior border patrol agents that did not to stop the incident. customs and border protection agent raised these concerns to supervisors within the agency. the witness says no action was taken and

captain jeremy kern is with us, captain of the san bernardino county fire department. he is on the line. your county, captain, is adjacent to ridgecrest, just next to the epicenter. so what's the situation? >> correct. so at this point, as you guys know, we did have that additional quake. immediately at that point our firefighters in the region started doing area checks and just doing initial primary damage surveys within our community. we were getting a report that there was an increase in the damage in the community compared to the previous quake from yesterday. we started deploying resources out to the region. that included again like we did prior, our heavy rescue, our urban search and rescue. our specially trained firefighters who equipped and trained to go in there and assess those buildings for safety. if there is a potential trapped victim, they have specialized equipment to go and search for cameras, and then enter those buildings safely to effect any rescues. we've also been dealing with water supply issues within the community over the last 24 hours or so ju

as you heard jeremy from the kern county fire department just say, they are out there right now. there taking those roads. they have got some damage. so they don't want people out driving right now. you never know when you are going to come up to a rockslide, a crack in the road, something like that. that's what the dealing with. >> you may think your clear, but you're not. we have been told that there are no more than 30, or up to 30 aftershocks being felt now and being recorded here. you talked about it. just the things that you need to do. you need to have your kit ready. you need to put on hard shoes, hard bottom shoes. because clearly, we have seen in situations like this where there is broken glass, or something you can step on. a lot of people want to immediately go outside and start taking pictures or walking around in their home. that is not a good thing to do. ridgecrest, where the epicenter of this earthquake took lace, we spoke to some people who are saying that they have homes that have sustained damage. a large amount of damage. we have had also - >> we are listenin
