when marine staff sergeant jeremy koneke came home to greet his 6-year-old son who has cerebral palsy, walking towards him for the very first time. >> this is such a beautiful video. it brought me to tears immediately. i thought it brought everyone in america to tears. >> yeah. well we wanted to reach out to the family and learn more about it. so "right this minute" we have jeremy, michael and melissa via skype. jeremy, tell me what you were feeling when you were walking into the gym and then you realized it was your son walking towards you? >> when i first walked into the gym, i didn't know what was going on. they had him hid behind the screen. as soon as he came around the screen and i saw him walking for the first time, it's a feeling you can't describe. only thing i could tell you, one of the most proud moments of my life, to see him. knowing the pain he had to push to to get to that point. knowing the determination it took for him to make that happen. i was a very, very proud father. >> melissa, did you know he was going to therapy for this? or was this like a complete surprise?
