nascar has just announced that driver jeremy mayfield has tested positive for meth, and according to a court filing, his sample had levels of methamphetamine consistent with that of a habitual user who consumes high doses. the driver of the number 41 car suspended back in may for allegedly failing a drug test then. the drug in that case was reportedly also methamphetamine. his suspension was recently lifted but now nascar wants him banned once again. we're told the most recent positive result is from july 6. mayfield's stepmother claims in an affidavit that she witnessed him use methamphetamine at least 30 times over seven years. we'll bring you more on this as we get it tonight. well, one is a convicted murderer. the other a convicted rapist. tonight this dangerous pair is out of prison and on the run and the cops are telling us they are tracking down new leads in a big manhunt. they say a total of three inmates escaped last week from the indiana state prison in michigan city, indiana. early this week cops caught up with one of them just across the border in grand beach, michigan. t
