jericka? >> such an important story. lilia, thank you. >>> tomorrow, the man accused of starting what is now the largest active wildfire in this country appears in a california court. the fast-spreading fire near chico, california, has burned more than 350,000 acres in just three days. cbs' jonathan vigliotti is there. >> reporter: jericka, the park fire is now the seventh largest fire in state history. the wind calmed down yesterday, allowing crews to gain some containment, but flare-ups like this tonight are still a big concern. northern california's park fire, the country's largest wildfire, has erupted in size to nearly 550 square miles. the intense flames forcing thousands of people in four counties to leave their homes. >> it is burning on both sides for ten miles. it was driving through an inferno. >> reporter: the fire has destroyed at least 66 structures, with about 4,200 homes threatened. but cooler temperatures are helping exhausted crews. >> the worst of the flames have been exting
