. >> reporter: good morning, we are here in jermantown less than a half mile from seneca high school. just down the road here. and christina was passing and crossing the street just behind me on the way to that school when she was hit and killed. montgomery county police tell me they are still reconstructing the accident here at the scene yesterday they told me the driver did stop after the accident and he had the green light. the principal at seneca high told me this is a common walking route to school and even her best friend crosses this street every day. the 15-year-old is describabled as the kind of -- described as the kind of girl that lights up a room. >> she was just a very happy individual. she got along with everyone that got along with her. >> i mean it's sad because that's my best friend. i didn't want her to go. it hurts. a lot. sleepovers at my house. me going over to her house. everything. >> reporter: seneca high school sent home a note with students yesterday explaining what had happened. coming up in the next half hour, we're going to take a closer look at the inters
