now, several days after the election incumbent jerry mcnerney a democrat has 47.7% of the vote. the republican challenger david harmer, well, he has 47.4%. vote. so that brings us here to superior court in martinez where david harmer's camp is challenging the registrar of voters of contra costa county saying that harmer's representatives are not being allowed close enough to see ballots or to verify addresses on mail-in and provisional ballots that are being counted. mcnerney's camp has no objections to the vote counting process. the republican camp went to court to stop the counting. incommissioner denied that and they are going to court morning to. this congressional district covers several counties including alameda, santa clara and san joaquin counties. there are no challenges at this point to those three other counties but here in contra costa county, a hearing at 8:30 where the challenger david harmer wants to stop the ballot counting. we'll be here to let you know how it turns out. >> thank you, mark sayre in martinez. >> let's get another check of traffic and weather. >>
