dealing with flooding in south jersey. this morning we have team coverage of the stormy saturday, bob brooks is monitoring the high water along the jersey shore. but we begin with meteorologist chris sowers who has the latest on the storm system, bring us up to date. >>> i'm happy to report most of the heavy rain is gone and off the coast. all the heavy rain that fell overnight, the smaller creeks and streams are beginning to fill up. because of that we're seeing minor flooding especially in southern cape may county. national weather service issued a flash flood warning until 8:15 a.m. two to four inches of rain has fallen. there's street flooding reported down here, reid -- reeds beach, villas, the point is okay. sea isle, avalon, strathmere all involved in the flash flood warning. for the next hour and 15 minutes you're under the gun there. surf city reporting light rain, same thing with atlantic city. the bulk of this is out to sea. most of south jersey is beginning to clear, at least the rain has stopped. we're seeing

to parts of south jersey. this is exactly what we were expecting to happen and where we were expecting the flood concerns to really hit. interesting to note, we now have this little dry wedge ever air pushing through, that will kill off some of the rain over parts of philadelphia and ensouth jersey. northern hoof still going to get hit. when you have the red colors, that is the heaviest rain moving through and it stretches from lewis beach up to cape may and that will be heading up to the northeast. so it will drive right along the jersey shore. so areas like wear town and burlington county still looking at a very steady rain. and these are areas that have already reported more than 2 inches of rain. so anything can start leading to flash flooding. these green boxes all flood reports are reported in contain may and atlantic county. a good spread here and this is where the bulk of the reports are likely to continue to come in as we go through the morning hours. here is the neighborhood planner as we go into the
