jesse gary is live in oak township, chester county. what's happening there this morning, jesse? >> reporter: oh, good morning to you. yeah, we're down in elk township on thunderhill road. and we're down here investigating lightning strikes on some property. now, we have not seen that. what we have seen is the heavy rain that you talked about. downpours as we made our way down philadelphia south on to 382 and hopefully back on to the baltimore pike. so there's periods of heavy rain as we made our way south and southeast. then also you're going to run into fog. you turn a corner and hit a fog bank. you want to make sure with the low beams, you run into the fog, you definitely want to be using the low beams. a lot of pooling of water on the roadways and debris strewn about because of the winds that would be blowing overnight. strong gusty winds have knocked over trash cans and sent the trash cans and also the garbage into the roadways in some cases. so watch out for that. we have made our way back, and we have not seen power outages as reported. it looks like the power was out, bac
