greg: jesse, you have young kids. do they ever ask you?as doing on 9/11. i asked my mom what was it like when hitler was alive. do they ever ask you about your day? jesse: the only thing they ask me for are cookies. i have to tell them about 9/11. this morning i told my 9-year-old girls about 9/11. i said there were guys who hijacked a plane. bad guys hijacked another plane and flew it in the pentagon where we do our planning to keep our country safe. before the bad guys crashed the plane into somewhere else, a bunch of heroes rushed through the cockpit and brought the plane down before it could kill many more people. i said niece guys are evil. they hate america and they want to kill us. i didn't get into the muslim thing or gitmo or the iraq war debate. i will wait until they are teenagers and i will have a fair and balanced discussion. harold: that was about as fair and balanced i have heard jesse. jesse: i should talk on the tv like i do to children. greg: have we got better? harold: the recovery and resilience of our nation, we have c

let's turn to jesse. m gives us a center national view and right here at home of very localized view. tell us about your book and this may be an obvious question but why did you write this book? >> i really wanted to write it because my son had just died of an overdose in april of 2017. as it was pete in star by the way until he was in his 20s. he gravitated towards that. he misunderstood disability. a lot of doctors and neurologists but there was never a label. he had a language and impairment of for him that language impairment meant -- between is thinking of that and being able to say it. what he would take of what he wanted to contribute, by the time he got the word the conversation had moved on so he learned at an early age that he didn't have anything to offer as far as he felt so he was reticent and he was misunderstood in school because while language impairment did impede his ability to share his thoughts his thoughts were still as good as anybody else's. it's just that he didn't know that anothe
