nbc 10 was the first on the scene and jesse gary is live on the scene. in the last half hour, he was given an update from the norristown fire chief. tell us more jesse. >> reporter: the chief says firefighters were able to pull this fatality out of the building. they were trying to do cpr and rushed that person to the hospital but were pronounced dead at the hospital you can see off in the background they are continuing to spray the back portion of this five-story apartment building here at norristown where the last of the flames were concentrated. as far as getting them under control, they are not out. this is video from earlier this morning. actually this is skyforce shoaling the much better view of the back of the building and the firefighting efforts going on. right now three people are injured, two residents, one firefighter. that firefighter was doing a search on the fourth floor of the building and suffered a cut to his hand. all three injuries are considered minor. we'll have an update again coming up in another 30 minutes about how the fire, eve

we're expecting to learn more about these charges coming against jesse matthew later this morning in a press conference out of charlottesville. sources with our sister station in richmond tell us jesse matthew will face murder charges in the death of uva student hannah graham. we don't know specifically what evidence led them to this charge but this is what we can tell you so far. matthew was first charged with abduction with intent to defy in graham's disappearance. is in fairfax county being held on a separate case facing attempted capital murder and sexual assault in the attack of a fairfax county woman back in 2005. his trial for that charge isn't until march. those charges again not related to the graham case. however, graham was last seen leaving a charlottesville bar with matthew in september of last year. her remains were later found in albemarle county just five miles away from where the remains of morgan harrington were found, the virginia tech student who disappeared from charlottesville in 2009. matthew's d.n.a. also linked him to that case. now, again a press conference

nbc 10's jesse gary is live on scene. jesse, what is the update? >> reporter: well, the update is they are working on the southbound lanes. if you take the trailer portion of the wreckage they are going to put it on a flatbed along with the cab portion there and take all of it off the freeway. but right now the d.o.t. says the engineers are out to come out to take a look at the east 12th overpass here that goes over i-495. because this accident happened they believe, when the truck struck the top of the bridge. and that is what sparked the crash. now the crash is of the cab section of the tractor-trailer, which actually made its way all the way across the freeway from the northbound lanes. the trailer portion stayed on the southbound lanes. that's why both sides of the freeway were closed but around 15 minutes ago, crews were able to get the wreckage and all the debris off the northbound lanes. so they have been reopened and traffic is moving quickly and normally along the northbound lanes. no backup there. we'll go to jillian mele now for an updat
