all he did was confirm yes, he represents jesse matthew. we also learned today that jesse matthew has been suspended without pay from his job at the uva medical center. we also have some video from him on a football field. he was a volunteer coach at the covenant school. he played football at liberty university and then later became this volunteer coach at covenant school. we heard from the headmaster at covenant who said that he has been terminated from that volunteer position and has no association with the school in any capacity. so this goes back to september 13th. that is the last moment hannah graham was seen alive and jesse matthew is seen in vid video -- video surveillance with hannah graham in the downtown mall area in charlottesville and friday jesse matthew was named a person of interest. people have been searching for him since. police have been on the lookout. there have been numerous possible sightings of him, but so far we have not had any confirmation that police have, in fact, found jesse matthew. of course, lots of rumors

graham is believed to have been last seen with 32-year-old jesse matthew. arrived at the police station this week. only asked for a lawyer and wound up speeding away. an arrest warrant is out on submission i suspicion of reckless driving he has not been called a person of interest either despite the passion of the chief. let's talk to the chief. thank you for joining us. do you have any new information? >> no, chris, i really wish we did. i want to make one point clear, after mr. matthew left the police station, he went to another location and that's where he was observed by state police and federal officials getting into the car and speeding off. you haven't heard from him since. we indicated there are two arrest warrants with him charging him with reckless driving we hope to hear from him. >> anything from the apartment? anything from the car. you looked at it before he came into the police station. anything interesting? >> yes, hopefully with le hear from the department of forensic science today with regard to what we might have recovered out of the car.

this was 32-year-old fugitive jesse matthew in front of a judge today, but it was wednesday that a federal law enforcement source told our richmond, virginia station that matthew borrowed a cell phone to make a call in louisiana and that first tipped off that the man of the center of the search for missing uva student hannah graham had left charlottesville on a road trip. that source said cops whittled down that matthew was in texas because of highway technology. police captured matthew on a beach near galveston wednesday. they received a call about a suspicious man camping. when they ran the license plate, it all clicked. >> they took all my clothes and they got me sleeping on the arm thing. i don't feel like i'm -- i should be able to have some i understand kind of clothes. >> today matthew appeared more concerned with his clothes than charges. police in charlottesville said they wouldn't open the trunk of his nissan sentra until they arrived. >> they already are starting to look at the vehicle and i know questions have been asked about any evidence of the young lady and right now they i
